This compatible toner cartridge does not have a chip and will need to switch the OEM toner chip to use. When used with OEM used chip, the cartridge will not provide proper toner level or page yield, safe on the printer firmware update.
When use with used OEM chip, the printer will prompt "Black Cartridge Very Low" message, please ignore the message and continue with print activities until the print image starting to show signs of fading.
